Water Resources Planning

  • ¬†Providing technical and management support on strategic, operational plans to ensure sustainable water resource availability to the sectors
  • Conducting recognisance, pre-feasibility & feasibility studies
  • Assessment of non-conventional methods of supply management, such as desalination, effluent reuse

Environmental Management

  • Critical to ensuring development is balanced with need for green environment
  • Undertaking assessment of Ecological Water Requirements and River Health
  • Socio-economic impact assessments of development initiatives

Civil Engineering Design

  • Carrying out planning & detailed design of civil infrastructure based on LCP
  • Project specifications & tender documentation
  • ¬†Providing construction administration of projects

Water Conservation & Demand Management

  • Framework & policy development for improving water use efficiency in the water sector
  • Development of strategies and business plans to reduce water losses and manage consumer demands in all sectors (municipal, agricultural, industries, Eskom, mining sectors)
  • Implementation of WC/WDM intervention measures

Asset Management

  • New focus area in which the Company has developed considerable expertise
  • Need for managing existing infrastructure – deterioration of infrastructure
  • Client needs to be GRAP compliant & meet PFMA & MFMA
  • Compilation of an Asset register incl. field verification & condition assessment (roads & stormwater, water, wastewater, electricity, community facilities, etc.)
  • Valuation of infrastructure assets, based on costing models developed by the Company
  • Development of Asset Management Plans
